Matthew 20:4, 8
Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you.Whatsoever is right I will give you.

One truth we must settle in our hearts is that God never calls a labourer He does not intend to reward. The owner of the vineyard did not merely invite workers; He assured them that whatever was right, He would give them. The invitation came with a guarantee.

Many believers hesitate at divine assignments, especially when it comes to reaching unreached people groups, missions, and kingdom service. Sometimes the fear is not the work itself but the uncertainty of provision. “Who will take care of me?” “Will my sacrifice be worth it?” “What if I give my all and receive little in return?”

The Lord of the vineyard answers these fears with a simple promise: “Whatsoever is right I will give you.”

If there is enough work in the vineyard, there is enough reward from the Master. The One who called you knows your value. He fixes wages. He determines rewards. He is never unjust. Men may overlook your labour, but the Lord keeps perfect records.

Notice that at evening time, the labourers were called to receive their hire. None was forgotten. None was omitted. The Lord of the harvest knew every hour worked, every sacrifice made, every burden carried, and every act of obedience rendered.

As Kingdom labourers, our confidence is not in what we see today but in the character of the One who hired us. We do not serve because of visible rewards; we serve because we trust the Master. Yet we can be assured that He rewards faithfully.

Do not withdraw from your assignment because of fear. Do not abandon the vineyard because of uncertainty. The One who sent you knows what is right, and He will do what is right. The Lord who called you to the vineyard is also responsible for your reward. Labour diligently, trust completely, and leave the payment to the Master.

My heart cry to the Lord
Father, help me to trust You completely as I serve in Your vineyard. Deliver me from the fear of lack and uncertainty. Strengthen me to labour faithfully, knowing that You are a just Rewarder. May I remain committed to Your harvest until the work is done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
